Health & Fitness Tip of the Day #184
Michelle Caines | 26 Oct 2011 @ 09:10
With shorter days and the dark cold nights well and truly upon us, a lot of us turn to and crave comfort foods.
But if you don't want to pile on the pounds this winter, stick to foods with a low glycaemic value (in other words they release glucose into the bloodstream slowly) and you will feel fuller for longer. Some good examples of such foods are porridge, soups, stews and casseroles, veggies, wholegrains and spices.
