As today is 'Wear it Pink Day' for Breast Cancer, I thought it apt to post about something related to the topic today. We all know of somebody whose life has been affected by cancer in some way. When you’re living with or after cancer, physical activity can help make a positive change to your life. Being physically active after treatment can be a positive step in helping you recover. Here are just a few of the benefits to be had from physical activity for cancer patients.
-
* Reduced tiredness (fatigue)

- * Reduced stress and anxiety
- * Help look after your bones
- * Help look after your heart help
- * Reduce your risk of getting a blood clot
- * Help keep your weight healthy
Naturally, you may be a little nervous about building up your activity levels, particularly if it’s for the first time or if you haven’t been very active for a while, but any amount of activity is better than none at all. For more information on living with cancer Click here
