How do you know if you are overtraining? There are many signs that somebody can be overtraining. Much like illness is some ways, the body will start to tell you to stop and you will experience symptoms much like you would if you were run down.

It's a daunting thought to anybody particularly if you have never run before! I myself began running last Autumn, I was in North Devon on a surf weekend, I knew I wanted to work on my cardio fitness and so had my trainers with me, and it was such a beautiful clear sunny morning I decided I would try running the coastal path. I cant explain how I felt afterwards, the setting was perfect (sadly every run isn't like that for me) but afterwards I felt a sense of achievement, euphoria and wanted to do more! I was hooked.
