Very easy to put together and can be stored vertically to reduce storage space.
This about as close to real rowing as you’re likely to get. Very smooth action with no ‘catch’ as you load the machine and work rate is entirely dependent upon how hard you row – no fiddling with settings to achieve different workloads.
The S4 monitor, together with the free heart rate monitor, covers everything you want to know about your workout.
This machine isn’t cheap (thanks to VAT) but, in my opinion, you will not regret buying it. Far better looking than the typical competitive mechanical contraptions and relatively quiet in operation – just the sound of the water in the tank – which is quite relaxing.
Gym Company provided the best deal and their customer service is second to none. The courier company managed to lose part of my order (WaterRower is delivered in two packages) but Gym Company promptly resupplied without any hassle.
I recommend both the WaterRower and Gym Company without reservation.

Of course, the rower looks great and that matters with home equipment. It looks warm and natural - better than a cold metal exercise bike cluttering up the place! The GymCompany service was great too (friendly staff) along with an on-time delivery. Altogether an experience to encourage me to buy again - which is rare these days! Thanks GymCompany!

We were used to using Concept rowers at our Gym, and fed up with the usual crowded gym as people try to lose the Christmas pounds, we pushed the boat out and bought the waterRower.

It is amazing, really easy to put together, it looks superb and to use is an absolute dream. The other reviews and descriptions are completely true - it is light and comfortable to use, and very very quiet. It does not have the initial 'shock' of getting things moving as with the concept, as each pull right from the start is smooth and a lovely transition.

As it works on drag, there are no High/Low settings, so you can vary your workout by rowing harder or lighter, with the heart rate monitor doing a superb job.

It is so pleasing that we actually keep this in the lounge, stood in its upright position, and it does not look at all out of place. It is even pleasant to look at due to the beautiful design.

We wholeheartedly recommend this product, and if you have shares in any other rowing machine company, best to seel them as the WaterRower is going to dominate the market in a few years time.

First the rower - this is truly the Rolls Royce of rowing machines. Having used other makes at gyms I can tell you that this machine excels. Mechanically smooth, realistic action, there's nothing to detract from the rowing experiance. The tech is good - with an easily operated monitor. 10/10
Now the service - the machine wasn't in stock when I ordered so I didn't get the next day service - but they kept me informed of progress. I had some complicated delivery arrangements but the order was fulfilled without fuss. 10/10

With many people offering the same item at similar prices, for me the ease of delivery was important. It arrived promptly and on time. The self assembly was well explained and to date I am delighted with the rower. When I have had to contact the company they have always been very helpful.

Waterrower was simple to assemble and feels a really good quality product. Easy to store upright, taking minimal space. Rowing experience feels very realistic and gives you an excellent all over workout.

Gym Company price matched all others but included heart rate monitor system free. Great deal !Ordered at 10pm on Weds, contacted by email 9.30am on Thursday and by 10.00am the next day delivery had been organised. Arrived by FedEx on the Friday as arranged. Staff at Gym Company friendly and extremely professional. I would use Gym Company again

This is what online shopping should be like. I ordered at 4pm (later than they say you can to get it next day) but I called and a nice chap called Richard offered to drop the rower into FedEx on his way home. Rower arrived at 10am today - only 18 hours after I ordered it.
