Brilliant Service

Loving the My 5

The delivery was exactly as agreed and the chaps took it upstairs with no complaints, even though it weighs 16 stone!

Although the accessory pack was initially missing, Kat sorted this out for me very quickly.

Exercise for me is usually very boring, but this is FUN!!

Excellent piece of kit

Ours arrived last week, minus the free accessory pack... one phone call to a very helpful member of staff sorted this out and all is here and working well. We ordered the rubber matting to sit underneath the power plate and this really helps the vibrations, as it is in an upstairs room.

I have used Power plates for a long time and know the benefit they have and after taking a break from them I certainly saw a difference in muscle tone and a return of cellulite, After just 7 sessions on it, I can already see an improvement again. By having a Power Plate at home means I no longer have to travel to the gym, so it will easily pay for itself.

Is the machine (MY5) suitable for a first floor?

Hello David Thank you for your information request. The Power Plate can be used on any level. If you find the the vibrations do go through to the floor below, then you can purchase the Power Plate shield which will stop this, but I would say to try without first. Kind regards Sarah

Hello Clair Thank you for your enquiry. The Power Plate machines combat cellulite by using the intense vibrations to break down the cells that cause the problem. Basically all of the machines will work in combatting this, but the higher the frequency on the effective areas will give a better result. They rarely break down and since we have been selling them which is approximately 4 years, i don't think that we have had one to fail on us mechanically yet. i would say that most pieces of equipment can last well in to 10 years with the advanced technology that is available now. is the my5 model safe to use in an upstairs bedroom, ie can the combined weight/vibrations cause any damage to the floor?! Thanks

ANSWERS

The MY5 should be fine in a bedroom or on a 2nd or 3rd floor of any house. They have been designed to absorb any vibration before it reaches the ground. In the extreme case that any of the vibrations do go through (this can happen on some older buildings) there is always the opportunity to buy the PowerPlate shield. This is a special platform that the machine can sit on and no vibrations will be noticed in the flooring. I would say that if you are going to purchase the machine to try without the shield first. The weight of the machine should be fine on a second floor also, it probably weighs about the same as most pieces of bedroom furniture.
